Here are some tracks from last week’s emails. It’s a hit or miss sampler ranging from ambient to hip hop. I had varied mind states during song selection. So check out more music we didn’t post on (until now).

I dig this track by Rudely Interrupted. The indie band from Australia will be performing a live afternoon show December 3rd at the United Nations in celebration of International Day for Persons with Disabilities. They play Public Assembly in Williamsburg later that night. Five of the six group members have disabilities such as blindness, deafness, aspergers, Autism, and Down Syndrome.

Artist: Rudely Interrupted
Track: In Our Dreams
Gejius is an electronic performer out of Portland, Oregon. He has a label compilation under Nueva Forma due for release in early ’09.This track features a sick sampling of lines from Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film Spirited Away. That movie is great by the way and scored by Joe Hisaishi.

Artist: Gejius
Track: Makkuro Kurosuke
This track was pretty damn disappointing. I’ll admit that I loved Joe Budden‘s self titled debut in 2003. But since then he’s been in mild obscurity due to issues with Def Jam and a falling out with Jay Z. This jam features The Game but it’s translates into another rap rip off of unoriginal beats and choruses. The new Budden album is titled Padded Room and comes out February 24th.

Artist: Joe Budden feat. The Game
Track: The Future
Rooted in Sweden, Twiggy Frostbite offers a calming sound from the North. Their debut album, Through Fire, isn’t slated for release until winter ’09 but here’s the first single. The group features members from The Deer Tracks and Grizzly Twister.

Artist: Twiggy Frostbite
Track: Heroes
This initially ambient track develops strength and cohesiveness towards the finish. Leaving open the possibility of complexity and narrative in Ranger3‘s debut album: Old Simplicity. R3 is an Anglo-Irish duo that teamed up in London earlier this year.

Track: Sense of Direction
